CITIZEN NOWHERE

“Szymon Brzóska has delivered another memorable score. He allows his imagine to run free with sounds as silvery and ethereal as a distant galaxy or providing an earthly contrast with pulsing dynamics.”

- Maggie Foyer, SeeingDance

Citizen Nowhere, my third collaboration with David Dawson is inspired by the story of The Little Prince. The piece insightfully pictures human condition today. This solo work gives physicality to the philosophy of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and shows how the solitary existence of being human is the most precious thing in the world.

I was inspired in so many ways while composing the music for this performance. Citizen Nowhere was created as a portrait about childhood, love, immortality and friendship but also teaches you how to embrace fear and sadness.
